- Measure, cut, and assemble wood and other materials, including roofing, siding, for construction projects.
- Operate a range of power tools including air compressors, saws, drills, and hammers efficiently and safely.
- Read and interpret blueprints and drawings to accurately determine the specifications of a project.
- Perform detailed carpentry work to the highest standards of quality and precision, including decks, stairs, windows, doors, capping, interior and exterior projects, etc.
- Ensure that all tasks are completed in a timely manner while adhering to safety regulations.
- Work independently on projects with minimal supervision, while also collaborating effectively as part of a team.
- Provide excellent customer service, ensuring all client specifications and expectations are met.
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment, managing tools and materials effectively.
- Participate in ladder work and other physically demanding tasks as required.
The ideal candidate should possess:
- 5+ years proven experience in commercial and residential Carpentry with a portfolio of completed projects.
- Proficient in using various construction tools including tape measures, speed squares, air tools, and power tools.
- Ability to read and follow technical drawings, blueprints, and manufacturers specifications.
- Independent worker able to manage multiple tasks and projects simultaneously.
- Strong focus on customer satisfaction and the ability to work well within a team.
- Reliable, punctual, and dependable work ethic.
- Valid driver's license preferred.
- Comfortable with ladder work and the physical demands of the carpentry trade.
