As a Carpenter, you will assist in the construction, installation, and repair of structures and fixtures made from wood and other materials under the guidance of a Lead Carpenter. Spruce Contracting is committed to exceeding client expectations and building lasting relationships, one project at a time.Responsibilities include but are not limited to:Assist with Installations: Help with the installation of cabinets, shelving, flooring, drywall, insulation, and other carpentry-related tasks.Material Handling: Measure, cut, and arrange materials for various construction projects as instructed.Blueprint Assistance: Learn to read and interpret blueprints and designs, assisting the Lead Carpenter in executing project plans.Tool Usage: Safely and properly use hand and power tools under supervision.Scaffolding & Formwork: Assist in erecting and dismantling scaffolding, as well as in preparing forms for concrete pours.Site Maintenance: Help maintain a clean and organized job site, ensuring tools and materials are properly handled and stored.Safety Compliance: Follow all safety protocols and local building codes as instructed by supervisors.Learning & Development: Engage in on-the-job training and any online or in-person courses provided by the company to advance your skills.Support Team Efforts: Work closely with team members to complete assigned tasks efficiently and effectively.Perform Other Duties: Take on additional responsibilities as assigned by supervisors to assist with project completion.The ideal candidate should possess:High school diploma or equivalent.At Least 2 years experience in the carpentry fieldGood mechanical aptitude and willingness to work with hand and power tools.Strong work ethic, reliability, and punctuality.Ability to take direction and work well with a team.Physical stamina to perform manual labor, including standing for long periods, lifting heavy objects, and working in various weather conditions.Willingness to learn and apply new skills quickly.Valid driver's license and reliable transportation are preferred.Benefits:Health Insurance OptionsPaid Time OffCareer Growth OpportunitiesWork Life BalanceCompany Vehicle Mileage ReimbursementSchedule:Full time (Over-time available)Monday to FridayWork Location:Plymouth Meeting, PA and surrounding areasApply today and take the first step toward a fulfilling career with Spruce Contracting LLC!We foster a family-like environment where every employee is valued.
