Job Description:
Job Duties
  • Perform a variety of tasks involving the use of hand tools
  • Read and interpret blueprints, plans, specifications, and sketches
  • Complete tasks such as, but not limited to, concrete forms and braces, handrails, stairs,
  • Prepare layout
  • Perform skilled carpentry work such as repairing and constructing all aspects of architectural building
  • Construct, erect, install, and repair structures
  • Wood and metal stud framing.
  • Operate a variety of hand and power tools and shop machinery in conjunction with proper
  • Receive materials and offload in a safe and proficient
  • Assist the superintendent in performing duties
  • Prepare surfaces for paint and other
  • Operate company vehicles, forklifts, and aerial lifts in conjunction with proper
  • Other job duties as assigned
  • Employee may be required to work extended hours (more than 8 hours per day), weekends, and holidays. Employee will be compensated based on guidelines in the Fair Labor Standards Act.
Qualifications and Requirements
  • 2 to 3 years of relevant experience in skilled carpentry
  • High school diploma or equivalent desired
  • Must successfully complete and pass a background check and drug/alcohol testing
  • OSHA 10 certification preferred
  • Valid driver's record preferred
