- Measure, cut, and hang drywall to required specifications
- Assist in framing up walls and installing sheathing;
- Install crown moldings
- Assemble and fasten materials using hand tools and wood screws, nails, dowel pins, or glue
- Cut and nail headers and blocking
- Fit and install window frames, doors, interior and exterior trim, wooden doorframes
- Perform carpenter tasks in compliance with site safety and building requirements.
Qualifications:
- 3-5 years previous experience in the commercial construction industry and knowledge of the materials, methods, and tools involved in the commercial construction field.
- Ability to accept direction and work as a team player.
- Demonstrate dependability to work a regular schedule including nontraditional hours including weekends.
- OSHA 10/OSHA 30 or willingness to undergo OSHA Safety Training.
