Salary: Starting at $17 / hour commensurate with experience

Job Summary

To maintain the building structures on the Woods Services campus by performing a variety of skilled jobs in the Maintenance Department.

Responsibilities:
  • The ability to follow written and verbal instructions
  • Handle daily work orders
  • Replacement of floor tiles and cove base
  • Repairs to toilet partitions
  • Install shelving, cabinets, bulletin boards, racks, etc
  • Hang doors and install hardware
  • Installation of wallboard and finish
  • Patch and spackle walls
  • Patch and finish concrete
  • Repair ceramic tile
  • Deck and stair construction and repairs.
  • Painting as needed
  • Works along with Preventive Maintenance Department when needed
  • Performs other related duties
  • Available for emergency calls and weekend duty.
Qualifications:
  • Vocational training in carpentry desired
  • Three years of carpentry experience desired
  • Full knowledge of carpentry skills
  • Utilize carpentry tools
  • Ability to lift 75 pounds- climbing and lifting involved
  • Valid drivers license
