Carpenter's Apprentice/Laborer
: Job Details :

You would be joining a team renovating residential luxury homes. You will be lead and trained by an experienced carpenter/project manager. The location of the properties will range week by week and sometimes day by day. The locations include areas in St. Charles County and St. Louis County.

Responsibilities:

• Assist carpenters with various tasks related to demo, framing, trim work, cabinetry, drywall, etc.
• Learn to operate power tools properly. Saws, nail guns, demolition hammers, power washers, etc.
• Learn to follow schematics and blueprints to ensure accurate and precise work.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area.
• Clean and maintain tools and equipment.
• Adhere to safety protocols and guidelines at all times.

Requirements:

• Previous experience in carpentry or related field is beneficial.
• Ability to follow instructions and work effectively as part of a team and individual.
• Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
• Physical stamina and the ability to lift heavy objects as needed.
• Willingness to learn and develop new skills in the carpentry trade.
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.

Note: This position is an apprenticeship opportunity for individuals interested in pursuing a career in carpentry, but your starting role will be in assisting the carpenters and performing construction labor.. Training will be provided on the job by experienced carpenters at various times throughout certain projects. Benefits are available to those after 90 days of employment. Your first day on the job will be a trial, if you don't show up on time or work well, you will be paid for the day and dismissed.

Job Type: Part-time / Full-time

Hourly rate: $20.00 - $28.00 per hour.

Expected hours: 30 – 40 per week. The more reliable, dependable and hard working the more we will be able to accommodate 40 hours a week.
