From hospitality to healthcare, our products transform spaces for the better.We are seeking a Carpentery Assistant with a strong understanding of capentitry and building furniture with an attention to detail. Job Description
  • Report to the Carpentry team lead to assist with production and fabrication of furniture as required.
  • Willingness to learn new carpentry techniques and machinery operations as projects require.
  • Address and resolve issues during the assembly process.
  • High attention to detail and strong problem solving skills during the production process.
  • Maintain product quality in adherence to company standards.
  • Assist with the warehouse team during down times, operating fork lift and preparing orders for shipment
Qualifications
  • Proven history of carpentry work on furniture pieces or related products
  • Competent using wood working machinery, power tools and associated hardware to perform a variety of tasks in the fabrication process. Attention to detail and strong problem-solving skills.
  • Able to read and interpret work shop drawings, blue prints and assembly instructions to produce product as required
  • Knowledge of wood staining, prepping and finishing practices
  • Strong work ethic and willingness to work as part of a team, taking direction from the team lead
  • Fluent in English (Spanish beneficial but not essential)
  • Forklift certified, or willing to complete a course upon hire
  • Employee may be required to work extended hours (more than 8 hours per day), and weekends as production needs require
