Job DetailsJob Location Houston - Houston, TX Remote Type Fully Remote Salary Range $60,000.00 - $70,000.00 Salary/year DescriptionPosition Summary BlackPoint IT is recruiting a Carrier Project Manager to oversee the carrier sales and renewal processes for business clients at BlackPoint. In this 100% remote role, you will collaborate closely with Sales Business Development Managers and Carrier Account Managers to ensure seamless communication and project execution. The Carrier Project Manager will address client inquiries, manage order processing and tracking, and maintain accurate records across multiple CRM systems. This position requires a strong understanding of carrier services and telecommunications and proven project management experience to support client needs and enhance service delivery effectively.   • Base Compensation: $60,000 to $70,000.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Support Sales Business Development Managers and Carrier Account Managers throughout the carrier sales and renewal process
  • Manage multiple CRM systems, including ConnectWise, Intelysis, Telarus, and RPM Telco
  • Handle direct carrier vendors outside Intelysis and Telarus
  • Schedule and coordinate client conferences and meetings for carrier projects
  • Track carrier orders from placement to commission, updating clients and Sales Managers on status
  • Schedule project phases with clients and carriers as required
  • Perform data entry for metrics, commissions, and key data for monthly reports
  • Create and process sales submissions, reporting inaccuracies to management
  • Expedite requests and modify sales orders and service addresses as needed
  • Communicate with external clients for customer support and carrier project coordination
  • Provide guidance to other departments to assist with client retention
  • Review and complete daily carrier tasks in a timely manner
  • Support the finance department with monthly commission reconciliation reporting
  • Work directly with Masters and Carriers to address client concerns, order tracking, issues, and internal reconciliation needs
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Communications, or related field and PMP certification is preferred, or equivalent combination of
  • Minimum of 3-5 years of project management experience, preferably in the carrier/telecom industry
  • Strong knowledge of carrier services and the telecommunications industry
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills
  • Proficiency in CRM systems and project management software
  • Outstanding interpersonal and relationship-building skills
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication abilities
  • Ability to multitask and prioritize in a fast-paced environment
  • Detail-oriented with a focus on accuracy and efficiency
  • PMP certification is a plus
