That firm is Sansiveri, Kimball & Co., LLP and we are seeking great people to join our team.Sansiveri, Kimball & Co., LLP, a leading regional public accounting and business consulting firm located in Providence, RI, offering remote work options and flexible work schedules, seeks a qualified individual for the following opening in our Client Accounting Services (CAS) Group.Provide a combination of both controller and bookkeeping services to a variety of clients from different industries.Small to medium sized businessesIndustries include construction, manufacturing, not-for-profit, professional services, and retailResponsible for oversight, account management and accuracy of financial recordsOversee, produce, and present financial statements and resultsDevelop and maintain insightful analytical reportsDrive the implementation of best practices and efficiencies.Timely responsiveness to client inquiriesDevelop and maintain strong relationships with client personnelProactively work with CPA for tax planning and preparation supportPosting transactions to the general ledger systemMonthly bank reconciliationsMonth-end and year-end closeBudget to actual and other analysesReconciling third-party service provider reports to the general ledgerCash disbursements process including processing payments for approved invoicesAccounts receivable function including issuing invoices and applying cash receiptsProcessing payroll utilizing client's third-party processorTeam OrientedMaintain strong communication with others in the CAS TeamSupport other members of the CAS Team and SansiveriSupport Tax Department by providing tax preparation work for mutual CAS and other clientsPerform various other duties to support the continued growth and success of the CAS TeamRequiredA minimum of 3 years of experience in performing CAS related work OR 4 - 5 years of public/industry accounting experienceAbility to manage multiple projectsAbility to meet multiple deadlines in a timely fashionAbility to work well in a team environmentProficient in QuickBooks OnlineProficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, OutlookAbility to learn and utilize various software, as necessaryPreferredProficient in QuickBooks DesktopBachelor's degree in accountingCPA licenseFirm OverviewSansiveri has recently been recognized as one of the 2024 Best Places to Work  by Providence Business News and Best Companies Group.
