Case Coordinator
We are seeking a dedicated individual to make a difference in the lives of those who are unhoused with serious mental illness in securing and maintaining housing. This full-time role focuses on providing case management services that support life skills improvement and daily living activities.
Key Responsibilities
- Collaborate effectively with a multidisciplinary team, clients, and the public.
- Conduct assessments and intervene appropriately in crisis situations.
- Communicate proficiently in English, both verbally and in writing.
- Work independently, exercising sound judgment and remaining calm in crises.
- Apply basic counseling skills and understand individual, group, and family dynamics.
- Engage in both indoor and outdoor activities, including client outings and supply transportation.
- Maintain composure and reliability in challenging situations.
- Utilize computer skills for report creation and document management.
- Perform crisis intervention and de-escalate aggressive behavior.
Qualifications
- Minimum of one year experience in mental health, counseling, or substance abuse treatment.
- Preferred: Two years' experience in related fields, including homeless outreach and housing placement.
- Academic training in Behavioral Sciences is required; a Bachelor's degree is preferred.
Certifications & Licenses
- Valid California Class C Driver's License with an acceptable driving record.
- Fire and Safety Training, First Aid, and CPR Certification (to be obtained within 180 days if not already certified).
- Management of Aggressive Behavior (M.O.A.B) and Crisis Prevention Institute (CPI) training required within 30 days of hire.

- Sun-Thurs, 8am-4:30pm
- Tues-Sat, 9am-5:30pm
