**We are looking for a candidate that is located in Southeastern** **Addison County/Northern Windsor County** **Vermont.**

Overall Responsibilities:

Specific Responsibilities:

+ PCG is seeking a highly motivated and dependable intellectual and developmental disability (IDD) needs assessor in the Chittenden County, Vermont and Windser County, Vermont territory. Assessors will conduct Supports Intensity Scale - Adult Version (SIS-A) assessments with individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities eligible to receive services from Vermont's Home and Community Based Services waiver.

+ This position will be hybrid. We will conduct assessments in person and virtually, depending on the need of the individual and respondent team.

+ This is a full-time role, including regular working hours as well as early mornings, evenings, and weekends. Ideal candidates will have a human services background and experience working with intellectual and developmentally disabled populations.

+ Clearly communicate purpose and reason for assessment to individual and other respondents.

+ Conduct assessments timely and in a professional manner.

+ Consistency in completing and documenting assessment information.

+ Represent PCG and the client in a professional manner.

Required Skills:

+ Ability to consistently interact with individuals, family members, guardians, provider staff and others in an appropriate, professional, and respectful manner.

+ Knowledgeable of Person-Centered Practices.

+ Proficiency with Microsoft Office tools and/or other online data entry

+ Dedication to accomplishing goals and overcoming challenges.

+ Flexible, self-starter possessing intellectual curiosity.

+ Excellent oral presentation and written communication skills.

+ Solid organization and time management skills.

Required Experience:

+ Bachelor's degree in a human services related field such as Social Work, Psychology, Nursing, Sociology

+ At least one-year experience working with individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities.

+ Experience conducting individual assessments with knowledge of behavior rating or psychological testing principles.

+ Knowledge and experience with person-planning concepts.

+ Prior experience conducting the Supports Intensity Scale assessment is preferred.

+ Experience with Home and Community Based Services waivers preferred.

Other Requirements:

+ Must have reliable internet connection.

+ Must have reliable transportation for in-person assessments.

+ Must be comfortable and familiar with technology including the use of virtual meeting technology (Zoom, WebEx, Microsoft Teams, etc.).

As required by applicable law, PCG provides the following reasonable range of compensation for this role: $55,200-$65,000.

Compensation for roles at Public Consulting Group varies depending on a wide array of factors including, but not limited to, the specific office location, role, skill set, and level of experience.
