Case Manager
: Job Details :

Our client, a non-profit organization providing housing and services to homeless and formerly homeless populations seek a dynamic and experienced individual to fill the position of Case Manager for the Bronx, their non-time-limited supportive housing for formerly homeless LGBT young adults.

• Pay rate: $60,000 - $62,000 per yea

Responsibilities:

• Will report directly to the site Director of LGBTQ Supportive Housing
• Responsible for providing individual and group mental health counseling as well as developing service plans for residents.
• Interviewing and assessing all housing applicants
• Completing all necessary documentation for NY/NYIII Housing referrals

Required Qualifications:

• MSW (Master Social Work), preferred or in a related field
• Plus, a minimum of 3 years of postgraduate experience in the field is required
• Additional requirements include experience working with homeless youth and in particular awareness and cultural sensitivity to LGBT youth issues and concerns.
• Work experience in a residential setting is preferred
• Work experience in a residential setting is preferred: 3 years (Preferred)
• License/Certification:MSW (Required)
