The Avita Supported Apartments Program is a community-based residential program. Our office is located in the apartment complex where our clients live. You will provide direct service to the clients we serve by teaching daily living skills and linking clients to to needed benefits (SNAP, Health Care, Food Banks, Social Security, and the like).
The is an active position, no two days are ever the same. As a team member, you will gain valuable experience in working with individuals with a severe and persistent mental illness (SPMI) and obtain direct care experience.
The Supported Apartments Program staff also gets to do fun activities with the clients. We have cookouts, holiday parties, and participate in other fun community events.
Requirements -
Completion of a Bachelor's Degree in Social Work, Psychology, Mental Health, Counseling or related field. (LEVEL 2 @ 33,280)*Completion of a Bachelor's Degree in Social Work, Psychology, Mental Health, Counseling or related field, and 1 year of experience working in a community mental health setting providing direct services. (LEVEL 3 @ 34,840)Avita is an approved Public Student Loan Forgiveness (PSLF) organization.
