About the role The Cash Analyst is responsible for cash analysis, banking activities including customers & firm ACH and wires processing, customer cash reconciliation, firm bank reconciliation, and will collaborate with various teams. Responsibilities:
- Report daily and weekly cash balances, available collateral, bank facilities, FX and other areas.
- Assist with incoming & outgoing customer ACH and wires, and related reconciliations.
- Provide internal and external services related to cash needs.
- Perform bank account reconciliations. Research and resolve any variance
- Coordinate daily settlement process with various external entities (NSCC, DTCC, OCC, etc.).
- Assist in the month-end closing process by preparing journal entries and posting activity to general ledger.
- Support treasury and finance leadership with implementation of various short-term reporting and long-term projections.
- Ensure and adhere to internal controls, policies and documented processes for cash management and treasury duties.
- Contribute to various back office and system implementation projects across the organization.
- Performs other related duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in finance or accounting
- Excellent excel skills
- Ability to prioritize in a time sensitive and multi-tasked environment
- Bank and Broker dealers cashiering experience preferred
- 2+ years of experience in corporate treasury
- CTP is a plus
