The Cash Application Specialist posts cash from multiple sources including the lockbox, bank and branches on a daily basis, into the ERP system. He/she also resolves any issues with customer payments and works with the Collections group as needed. Work Location:On Site Pay: $21-25/hr Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Posting payments to customer accounts and branch customers in the organization's ERP system (Karmak Fusion).
- Review, correct and process cash logs prepared at the branch locations.
- Post cash from the lockbox, ACH and bank to appropriate customer accounts.
- Review, propose, and post customer and warranty refund requests.
- Administer and process programs associated with collecting customer payments, credit cards, third party providers, collection agencies, etc.
- Interact effectively and courteously with internal and external customers.
- Answer questions pertaining to a customer's purchase history.
- Assist Commercial Collection Specialists to research/resolve over and short payments and unapplied cash.
- Provide excellent customer service.
- All other duties as assigned.

- High School or equivalent required, Associate's degree preferred.
- A minimum of 1 year experience in an accounting related role.
- Must be able to work with and understand financial information and data, and basic arithmetic functions.
- Basic Windows and Google Suite or Microsoft Office computer skills required.
- Superior data entry and 10-key skills required, Must be able to balance speed and accuracy.
- Dependable and reliable attendance required.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to prioritize work to meet tight deadlines.
- Must have excellent written and oral communication skills.
