Our Accounting Services team is accepting applications for a part-time Cash Office Associate. In this position, you are responsible for processing and reconciling all deposits, change orders and starting banks in accordance with approved policies and procedures. In addition, you generate revenue reports and provide assistance in various functions of the cash and general accounting areas as necessary.
This is a part time position, approximately 28 hours per week. This is a flexible position and an excellent opportunity to gain valuable finance experience.
Essential Responsibilities
- Processes all deposits, change orders and starting banks in accordance with approved policies and procedures.
- Reconciles cash register activity.
- Works the cash window, which includes disbursing starting banks and change, cashing checks, and reimbursing petty cash transactions.
- Generates revenue reports for business units and communicates cash discrepancies to unit leaders as appropriate.
- Maintains and controls Cash office safe at approved levels
- Assists with the development and implementation of cash procedures and internal controls.
- Performs other activities as necessary.
- Contributes to the effective team management of all problems, issues and opportunities
- Acts as a team player and provides expertise within the team and with other teams as appropriate.
Your Qualifications
- High school diploma required, accounting/financial education or experience preferred.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office suite of software
