CLOSING DATE: 12/23/2024 @ 4:00pm (MST)Salary Range: $11.29 - $12.98/Hour**APPLICANT MUST HAVE A VALID, UNRESTRICTED INSURABLE DRIVER'S LICENSE**** RESUME AND REFERENCES ARE REQUIRED**ESSENTIAL DUTIES, FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Greets customers and operates electronic cash register and the meal tracker system.
  • Conducts sales of merchandise to the general public, staff, and visitors involving FDIHB retail financial transactions (cash, and/or credit cards). Provides basic and routine information to customers concerning products.
  • Receives cash from customer, examines for validity and genuineness and provide change.
  • Provides basic and routine information to customers concerning dining facility procedures and policies.
  • Performs cash counts before opening the cash register and after closing the cash register.
  • Performs end of day and monthly reports.
  • Safeguards money, keep cash locked except when making change.
  • Opens and closes out cash register and meal tracker system. Print register receipts and daily summary reports reflecting subtotals and totals. Compares total cash in the cash drawer with total on receipts. Completes accountability documentation, tum cash in as well as reports to Collection Clerks.
  • Checks and verifies meal cards. Checks, verifies and accepts free meal tickets for all those who qualify for a free meal.
  • Reports discrepancies to supervisor.
  • Compares items and prices on menu with those on the cash register, updating with available menu items and prices. Finds and secures shoot locations, vetting and interviewing subjects, interview questions and storyboards for assigned work order/request.
  • Fills and replenishes condiments, packaged food items eating utensils, cups, napkins and beverage items in the cafeteria.
  • Checks inventory, prepare food order and stock storeroom for condiments, packaged food items, eating utensils, cups, napkins, and beverage items according to established par levels; this also includes checking merchandise inventory for kiosk.
  • Maintains order and cleanliness of cafeteria and dining rooms. Assist with opening and closing of cafeteria and dining room.
  • Uses established policies and procedures, maintains a sanitary, safe working environment for employees and food production, by using proper personal hygiene and universal precautions to protect self and all who come in contact with products prepared in the department.
  • Applies principles of proper storage of food and supplies using FIFO (first in - first out) including labeling and dating all products received and stored.
  • Travels to Nahat'dziil Health Center to maintain order, cleanliness and replenish merchandise sale items for vending machine.
  • Will assist with in-house and off-site catering by delivering, serving, maintaining order and cleanliness for each catering request.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.
