May also perform general food service work. Maintains sanitation standards in the preparation, service and dining room facilities.ServiceGreets guests and takes and fulfills orders.Accepts payment via cash, credit card or voucher/tickets and accurately records purchases.Accurately uses Point of Sale (POS) system.Understands all menus, product offerings, side dishes, condiments, packaging and pricing.Adheres to inventory control, waste, employee meal and spoilage procedures.Thoroughly completes all station set-up and breakdown responsibilities, including but not limited to, obtaining and returning cash bank and credit card machine, ensuring register tape supply is adequate, and setting and returning cups at locations where required.Maintains clean and organized work station and service areas (to include the upkeep and replenishment of items/goods).Delivers exceptional service.Acts with a sense of urgency with respect to guest and event needs.ControlsEmploys good safety and sanitation practices in order to prevent hazards including but not limited to, slips, trips, falls and burns, and reports injuries, unsafe conditions or equipment malfunctions to management.
