Are you a go-getter with a positive disposition and a passion for making customers happy? We are seeking a cashier with excellent customer service skills and a winning attitude! This is a full-time position, the ideal candidate needs to be available for a flexible schedule. Monday through Thursday 10:30 am- 7:30 pm, Friday 9am-6 pm and Saturdays 9 am -6pm. Come join our growing team in a safe environment!RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Meet and greet customers in a professional manner
  • Operate switchboard telephone system
  • Communicate with callers in a professional, friendly and efficient manner, striving to minimize the amount of time customers spend on hold
  • Provide basic information to callers who have general inquires
  • Assist with various clerical duties as needed
  • Be friendly, professional, courteous and efficient when working with all customers and employees
  • Calculate the customer's bill using the dealership's computer system
  • Receive cash, checks, and credit card payments from customers and record the amount received on the repair order and/or counter ticket
  • Make change accurately and issue receipts to customers. Have every repair order signed by the customer at time of payment.
  • Ascertain and record totals of counter tickets and repair orders and verify against all cash, checks and credit card payments on hand at end of shift
  • Work with department managers to keep abreast of new products and services offered by the dealership and any changes in price
  • Refer customers who have additional questions to management
  • Handle customer complaints with integrity and poise and take or refer the complaining customer to the appropriate individual for further communication
  • Process refunds to customers for approved returns
REQUIREMENTS:
  • Excellent communication skills and high attention to detail
  • Ability to multi-task and handle several phone calls at once
  • Must have at least a high school diploma/GED
  • Must be proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel
  • Professional personal appearance
  • Must be willing to submit to a background check & drug screen
