Job Summary: Cashiers at AutoZone are the face of the company and play a critical role in providing excellent customer service. They handle the sales transactions at the point of sale in an efficient, friendly, and accurate manner.
Responsibilities: - Greet customers as they enter the store and thank them when they leave. - Operate POS systems to handle cash and credit card transactions. - Process returns and exchanges, adhering to company policies. - Maintain a clean and orderly checkout area. - Answer customer inquiries and provide information on AutoZone products and services. - Assist in maintaining the sales floor, including restocking of products and merchandising.
Qualifications: - High school diploma or equivalent. - Previous retail or customer service experience preferred but not required. - Strong communication and interpersonal skills. - Basic math skills. - Proficiency in handling POS systems is preferred but not required. - Ability to stand for extended periods.
