- Greets customers with a welcoming happy greeting and serves them with their baked goods or ice cream requests.
- Receives payment by cash, credit cards, vouchers, or automatic debits.
- Issues receipts, refunds, credits, or change to customers.
- Check money in cash drawers at the beginning of shifts to ensure that amounts are correct and that there is adequate change.
- Calculates total payments received during a time period, and reconciles this with total sales.
- Assist customers by providing information, taking orders and resolving their complaints.
- Maintains clean and orderly checkout area.
- Cleans tables and seats.
- Cleans up spilled food, drink or broken dishes and removes empty bottles and trash.
- Maintains adequate supplies of items, such as clean silverware, dishes and trays.
- Scrapes and stacks dirty dishes and carries dishes and other tableware to kitchen for cleaning.
- Washes pots, pans, dishes, utensils, and other cooking equipment.
- Stocks cabinets or serving areas with condiments and refills condiment containers.
- Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs.
