Job Description:

We are seeking a Part-time Cashier/ Receptionist with excellent customer service skills and a winning attitude. This individual is responsible for accurately directing inbound calls, completing customer & departmental transactions, and providing administrative support as needed. Must have basic accounting skills including an understanding of functions in both accounts receivable and accounts payable.

**The shift will alternate every other week as follows: Week 1, Monday, Wednesday, Friday; 2:30 PM-7:30PM. Week 2, Tuesday, Thursday; 2:30PM-7:30PM, AND Saturday, 8AM-5PM.**

**Responsibilities**

* Calculate the customers bill using the dealerships computer system

* Receive cash, checks and credit card payments from customers and record the amount received on the repair order and/or counter ticket

* Make change accurately and issue receipts to customers

* Answer phones and direct consumer to the proper department and follow up in a timely manner

* Handle customer complaints diplomatically and refer complaining customers to the appropriate individual for resolution

* Operate switchboard telephone system

* Communicate with callers in a professional, friendly and efficient manner, striving to minimize the amount of time customers spend on hold

* Assist the managers with various clerical duties as needed

* Be friendly, professional, courteous and efficient when working with all customers and employees

* Familiarize yourself with department structures & internal procedures for assisting customers efficiently

**Qualifications**

* Experience with Microsoft Office

* Available to work 2 PM to 7:30 PM Monday thru Friday, and 8 AM to 5 PM Saturday.

* Ability to communicate customers' interests, needs, and requests to management and sales personnel

* Ability to multi-task and remain calm during busy periods

* Record for punctuality and solid attendance

* Commitment to providing a superior customer service experience

* Professional personal appearance

* Clean driving record

* Willing to complete a pre-employment drug screen and background check.
