SUMMARYResponsible for the Deep Cleaning care in all Gaming and Public areas. Areas to include Trackside, Security and the Maintenance buildings.ESSENTIAL JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Responsible for detailed cleanliness of all housekeeping assigned areas throughout the property.Not limited to: high dusting and upper ceiling cleaning, detailed mopping and sweeping, waxing, vacuuming, the polishing stripping and refinishing of floors. Operating a floor scrubber and buffer. Washing windows, scrubbing carpets and moving furniture.Work area will include but not limited to: trackside, casino, gray house and golf course.Ensure the safety and security of guests and employees.Must adhere to all OSHA regulations and local Health Department standards.All other duties as assigned. REPORTING LINEYou will report directly to the Housekeeping Supervisor then to the Executive Housekeeper.QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS
- Must have excellent communication skills, be polite, and present a neat appearance at all times.
- The ability to work with others as a team in an efficient manner.
- You will need to be available to work all shifts.
- The ability to perform assigned job duties under frequent time pressure in an interruptive environment.
- Knowledge in the safe use of cleaning products.
- You must be at least 21 years old.
- You also must be able to pass a background investigation and obtain and maintain a WV Racing License.
EDUCATIONAL AND/OR EXPERIENCEHigh School Diploma or equivalent is preferred but not necessary.PHYSICAL DEMANDSYou will need to be able to stand or sit for prolonged periods of time. The ability to push, pull, kneel, twist, carry and lift up to 50 lbs. WORK ENVIRONMENTWill be exposed to working in a noisy, smoke/secondary smoke environment and seasonal elements. MATERIALS AND EQUIPMENT DIRECTLY USEDYou will be in direct contact with various cleaning chemicals.
