Overview:

Under the direction of the Entertainment Manager, the incumbent is responsible for assisting and providing support in planning and implementing of Entertainment Department initiatives. As well as the coordination of all Entertainment calendars, schedules, and administration, the incumbent in this position is responsible for all the following operations: setup and confirmation of all entertainment transportation, hotel rooms requirements, and artist catering requirementsfor all events held in the Event Center, Event Lawn, Hard Rock Cafe, and Casino floor. Under the direction of theEntertainment Manger, the incumbent performs all duties as necessary for the safe and efficient events in accordance with corporate policy and Gaming / Lottery Commission Regulations.

Responsibilities:
  • (These functions are intended as a general illustration of the work performed in this job classification and are not all inclusive for this position) Interface with all departments to ensure timely scheduling of all transportation, hotel, and catering requests are logged and confirmed and to also be the liaison between the property and headline artists. Assist with managing all entertainment booking calendars and schedules including outdoor arena, theater/ballroom and lounges including all confirmations and holds. Coordination of agreement status tracking, hotel room blocks and ground transportation coordination. Communicate with all customer questions, suggestions, and complaints. Assist with team floor coverage schedules. Work with purchasing gathering details for bids, plus receiving and the warehouse on inventory and deliveries. Prepare requisitions for all goods and services purchased by the Entertainment Department. Examine for accuracy and prepares for payment all vendor and artist invoices & contracts required for and by the department. Assist the Entertainment manager in the preparation of and monitoring the annual budget, monthly budget justification, monthly/quarterly projections, and all expense reconciliations, including talent. Maintain electronic and hard copy files of all completed show files including contracts and analytics. Develop and prepare all entertainment power point proposals and presentations. Demonstrate a commitment to ensuring responsible gaming and responsible alcohol service by discreetly notifying appropriate managers of concerns and observations. Demonstrate actions and behaviors that reinforce the Companys Mission and Values of Communication, Integrity, Fun, Respect, Accountability, Passion and Dedication Performs other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:
    • EDUCATION AND /OR EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS:(Related education and experience may be interchangeable on a year for year basis)Page 2 Entertainment Rep.High School Diploma or trade school certificate and a minimum of two (3) years of entertainment venue experience performing similar duties or a combination of education and experience. ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS: (Licenses, Certifications, Testing, etc): Must obtain and maintain all licenses / certifications per Federal, State, and Gaming/Lottery regulations Must successfully pass background check. Must successfully pass drug screening. Must be twenty-one (21) years of age.KNOWLEDGE OF: Ability to read and comprehend industry periodicals, artist riders, detailed reports, memos, or letters. Ability to perform public speaking. Ability to read and understand all Hard Rock Casino policies and procedures. Must possess basic mathematical skills to include ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide specific to position responsibilities. Must be computer literate. Proficient knowledge of Microsoft Office, Excel, PowerPoint, and Word is required. Above average organizational skills. Must be able to analyze marketing and promotions data Ability to work flexible schedules, including nights, weekends and holidays may be required.

Must be able to respond to visual and aural cues. This position spends time on the casino floor and is subject to varying levels of crowds and noise, and the severity of which depends upon guest volume Must be comfortable with working at heights more than 4 and able to do so safely and efficiently Must be comfortable with working within a smoking environment when needed Must be willing to work in drastic climate conditions with prolonged exposure to the elements Must be able withstand strobing lights and smoke machines
