ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES•Establishes and maintains the good will of our AEP/VP customers based on personal knowledge of the individual.•Represents management at special events.•Greets and hosts customers.•Assists in planning special events and particularly in developing invitation lists for special events.•Organizes and participates in off-property functions such as dinners, cocktail parties, gold tournaments, etc.•Is responsible for developing incremental trips for gaming patrons.•Keeps abreast of competitive promotional methods. Provides compliments for gaming customers in accordance with program qualifications.•Assists hotel with Diamond, VIP and Seven Stars check in, check out, room assignments and guest room key dispersion.•Adhere to regulatory, departmental, and company policies in an ethical manner.•Conveys terms of programs and explains qualifications and requirements to prospective gaming customer.•Must be able to be approved for and maintain a valid gaming license.•Must be able to read, write, speak, and understand English. Must be able to respond to visual and aural cues.•Work nights, weekends and holidays as required.•Employment is contingent upon a favorable outcome of background investigation and drug screening. QUALIFICATIONS/REQUIREMENTS•High School graduate or equivalent required•Must be a minimum of 18 years of age or older upon employment.•High school diploma or its equivalency required. •Must have 1-2 years outside sales and/or telemarketing experience.•Must be proficient in all basic Windows Software.•College degree or equivalent preferred.•Minimum of 2 years in gaming operations experience preferred.•Must enjoy being with people and has the ability to make each guest feel special.•Must have excellent verbal and communication skills.•Able to resolve guest's problems so that both the guest and the casino are pleased with the outcome.PHYSICAL, MENTAL AND WORK DEMANDSThe physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
