Overview:
The Casino Host is responsible for providing quality customer service, guest satisfaction, and increasing rated play.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and manage the budget for premium slot play and VIP promotions.
- Ensure the safety and security of employees and customers.
- Evaluate customers play for comping needs.
- Responsible for managing and increasing rated both tables and slots.
- Communicate with premium/rated players through telemarketing, letter writing about available services, promotional opportunities and special events.
- Communicate between guest and staff department to ensure customer satisfaction.
- Review and manage departmental financial data.
- Review activities and promotional status with Director of Player Development.
- Meet with departmental directors and managers as necessary.
- Other duties assigned.
Qualifications:
- Three to five years of experience in sales or marketing, casino operations preferably gaming with a 4 year degree in a related field of equivalent work.
- Requires a gaming license.
- Ability to work flexible schedules, including nights, weekends and holidays is required.
- Ability to deliver a service level which creates an atmosphere that makes our guests want to return, giving each guest a positive, memorable experience.
- Commitment to routinely go above and beyond in the accomplishment of position responsibilities in an effort to play a role in the achievement of organizational goals.
- Must present an image of excitement and enthusiasm, while being able to project a professional appearance and demeanor.
- Excellent interpersonal, organizational and communication skills.
- Display strong work ethic and team work.
