LakeSide Entertainment Manager (Class II Gaming)
Job Summary:
The Class II Gaming (Casino) Manager will oversee day-to-day operations of the casinos including employee training and management, develop customer loyalty through superior customer service and best-in-class guest experience with up to 200 gaming machines.
Supervisory Responsibilities:
- Interviews qualified candidates for various vacant positions in the casino.
- Oversee the day-to-day workflow of casino properties.
- Conducts performance evaluations that are timely and constructive.
- Conducts required training within a timely manner.
- Handles discipline and separations of employees as needed and in accordance with Nation policy.
Duties/Responsibilities:
- Develops, promotes, and oversees casino services including customer loyalty and rewards programs and special guest accommodations.
- Draft and implement staff schedules.
- Builds unity and morale among casino staff, promoting enthusiasm and high standards of customer service by all employees.
- Collaborate with security team to support and enforce all security protocols.
- Maintains current knowledge of applicable laws and regulations.
- Ensure all casino practices and services are in accordance with MICS, CNICS, SICS and casino policies and best practices.
- Maintains gaming license through CNGC.
- Performs other related duties as assigned.

Education and Experience:
- Post-secondary education or suitable combination of continuing education with casino management experience.
- At least five years of casino management experience required.
Physical Requirements:
- Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
- must occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.
- Must be able to quickly access various departments and locations of casino property, particularly in the event of an emergency or problem.
- While performing the duties of this job, the employee regularly is required to stand and walk; use hands to finger, handle, or feel; reach with hands and arms; and talk or hear.
Work Environment:
Work is generally performed in a casino setting with exposure to second-hand smoke and a moderate noise level. Extended hours and irregular shifts are required. Tight time constraints and multiple demands are common.
