Casualty Claims Supervisor Location: Wilmington, DE Our client is seeking a Casualty Claims Supervisor to oversee a team of claims adjusters, TPA partners, and claims support staff. This role focuses on managing frequency claims (auto and liability), driving operational efficiency, and ensuring exceptional customer service.Key Responsibilities:
- Supervise claims adjusters and service teams, ensuring performance metrics are met or exceeded.
- Manage, coach, and guide team performance, including goal setting and compensation processes.
- Lead claims handling for auto and liability, delivering superior service to customers, agents, and business partners.
- Oversee the claims process, including investigations, coverage reviews, reserving, negotiation, and settlement.
- Provide technical expertise and direction on casualty claims resolution.
- Analyze insurance coverage and clearly communicate positions in alignment with company guidelines.
- Set and adjust reserves within authority limits, recommending changes as necessary.
- Ensure TPA network quality through contract management and service-level agreement oversight.
- Travel as needed for business purposes.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience.
- 3-5+ years of casualty claims management, including auto, homeowner, and injury claims.
- Experience with high exposure and complex casualty claims, TPA management, and high-net-worth policies.
- Proficiency in systems such as CCC, ARMS, and Copart preferred.
- Strong analytical, decision-making, communication, and negotiation skills.
- Exceptional customer empathy and a proactive approach to innovative improvements.
- Professional demeanor with the ability to thrive under pressure.
