Position Summary

The primary location of this position is the main Cullowhee, NC campus.

The administrative support specialist plays a crucial role on our advancement team by ensuring the accurate and efficient entry and maintenance of donor and alumni records in our database. This position requires an eye for detail, strong analytical skills, excellent communication skills, and a commitment to data accuracy.

The primary purpose of the position is to record accurate membership information for Catamount Club and other giving society members in the Raiser's Edge donor database (CRM). The membership coordinator will review daily gift logs and flag appropriate membership categories for the donors in the CRM. The membership coordinator will update biographical information as necessary and will make updates to constituent contact and biographical data.

The membership coordinator will work closely with the Director of the Catamount Club and the Director of Donor Relations to ensure a commitment to accuracy with regard to all giving society membership lists managed by the division of advancement.

The membership coordinator will report directly to the Director of Advancement Services and will be a member of the data services team within the Engagement unit. The membership coordinator will support the year-round needs of the division, with a special focus on the Catamount Club as a key priority of the University during the Fill the Western Sky campaign.

Minimum Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalency and one year of related office experience; or equivalent combination of training and experience.
