About the Role: We are looking for an Indirect Procurement Information Technology (IT) Global Category Lead responsible for the development and management of t he IT sourcing. The role is Accountable for ensuring category plans, strategies and implementation plans are aligned with Indirect Procurement strategy, Source-to-Pay (S2P) Managed Services offerings, and overall Enterprise and Operating Company needs as well a functional leadership of the Indirect Procurement IT Category Team. This position will be located at one of our facilities in Newark, Delaware, Elkton, Maryland or Phoenix, Arizona, with the possibility of a hybrid remote work arrangement, depending upon the responsibilities of the role and business needs. Responsibilities:
  • Lead development and creation of Global Information Technology Procurement Strategy in partnership with the Operating Company Supply Chain Leaders and Information Technology Operating teams
  • Influence Operating Companies choices and decisions in the areas of Information Technology to ensure balance of Enterprise goals and leverage while meeting the individual Operating Companies needs
  • Utilize available market intelligence information to identify opportunities and drive category management strategy
  • Previous experience working with an external procurement partner to drive projects and an industry standard approach to Source-to-Pay (S2P) for the IT Category
  • Knowledge of current Information Technology products and service offerings
  • Manage key stakeholder relationships while ensuring business requirements are met
  • Conduct supplier risk assessment and determine mitigation strategy
  • Leverage Procurement Operations team outputs and deliverables in direct application of category strategies: Spend Analytics, Total Cost of Ownership, Supplier Performance and Risk Management, Procurement Policy Development/Governance
  • Monitor supplier performance based on agreed KPIs and execute supplier performance reviews Required Qualifications:
    • Bachelor's Degree preferred
    • Minimum 10 years demonstrated Procurement experience with minimum 5 years experience in one of the following: Category Management or Strategic Procurement activities
    • Previous global Information Technology Software, Hardware, telecommunications and IT Services support Procurement Strategic experience
    • Responsible for ensuring the supply market analysis are developed for Information Technology by Level 2 categories including Supplier Diversity and ESG in support of Enterprise Goals
    • Lead the creation and execution of category strategies in alignment with Operating Company goals by collaborating with Indirect Operating Company functional team leads
    • Directly negotiate enterprise-wide contracts or agreements of significant value
    • Direct Middle Office activities in direct application toward category strategies: Spend Analytics, Total Cost of Ownership, Supplier Performance and Risk Management, Procurement Policy Development/Governance
    • Provide Direction to Managed Service Strategic Sourcing Category Managers, Indirect Procurement Category Managers and Procurement Specialists across all Operating Companies and Specialty Groups
    • Demonstrated ability to drive savings and value within the Information Technology Category
    • Demonstrated ability to enable Change with a Growth mindset toward Industry Standard practices
    • Ability to travel 20% Desired Qualifications:
      • CPSM, CPM, SPSM or similar certification
