Your Role As a Part-Time Catering Assistant, you will support our catering operations during both day and evening events. Your attention to detail will be essential in ensuring everything runs smoothly, allowing us to deliver outstanding service and unforgettable experiences to our clients. Key Responsibilities Sales Support: Assist in the sales process by engaging potential clients, understanding their needs, and helping to develop proposals. Pipeline Management: Help track catering leads and support the management of the sales pipeline to ensure timely follow-ups and conversions. Relationship Development: Build and maintain positive relationships with clients to encourage repeat business and referrals. Setup and Breakdown: Assist with the setup and breakdown of catering events, ensuring all materials are organized and beautifully presented. Food and Beverage Service: Help serve food and beverages during events, maintaining high standards of presentation and quality. Guest Engagement: Interact with guests during events to ensure satisfaction and address any questions or concerns they may have. Logistics Coordination: Support the coordination of catering logistics, including inventory management and transportation of supplies. Simplified Event Execution: Streamline the event execution process by assisting with scheduling, coordinating team roles, and ensuring all tasks are completed efficiently. Team Collaboration: Work closely with chefs and other staff to ensure seamless event execution, maintaining clear communication throughout. Cleanliness and Safety: Ensure that all work areas are clean and comply with health and safety regulations throughout each event. Qualifications Experience: Previous experience in catering or hospitality preferred. Team Player: Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to work collaboratively in a team setting. Flexibility: Willingness to work a flexible schedule, including both day and evening shifts, weekends, and holidays as needed.
