Essential Duties and ResponsibilitiesTo perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.Serves food to guest with high level of customer service.Must understand and practice the concept of teamwork.Maintain high standards of safety and cleanliness in all areas.Must strive to provide guest with a memorable experience and exceed their expectations by anticipating their needs.Assist with collecting all banquet equipment to include flatware, china, glassware, and serving pieces needed for each event.Assist with preparation and set-up of event room when necessary.Prepare tables with place settings as instructed.Establish and maintain positive client relationships.Maintain accurate cash handling procedures at all timesEnsure health codes are followedPrepares food and beverage for customerFollow all rules and regulations for serving alcohol.Perform other duties as assignedSkills and AbilitiesMust have attention to detail.Must have good oral and written communication skills and understand instructions and guest request.Must have strong customer service skills.Must have basic math skillsMust be able to adapt to changes in the work environment, managing competing demands, frequent changes, delays or unexpected events.Physical DemandsThe physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. This position may require work inside or outside of the building, as needed by events.Daily lifting up to 20 lbs., constant reaching, stooping, standing and walking.
