The Event Lead will execute various events such as weddings, corporate events, birthdays, and social gatherings. This is a fast-paced role requiring flexibility to meet the needs of each personalized event.Job duties:· Lead events both offsite and in the banquet room.· Pack and unpack for offsite events at our restaurant.· Be present at events from start to finish.· Follow floor plans and timelines given to you by the Director of Events or Catering Director.· Properly execute a variety of dinner styles such as buffet, family style, and plated meals.· Set up, operate, and tear down for bar service with proper knowledge of bar equipment.· Lead both the FOH and BOH employees with proper communication.· Communicate with Director of Events, Catering Coordinator, and Catering Chef.· Clock all front of house employees in and out.· Ensure all events are carried out successfully.· Communicate with planner/coordinator for offsite events.· Drive the company vehicle to and from the event.Skills & Qualifications:· Experience with FOH catering.· Exceptional leadership and communication skills.· Comfortable working in a fast paced environment.· Flexibility and adaptability to handle changes in event plans and requirements.· Must have WA state food handlers card and a MAST 12 permit.Mandatory Requirements:· Ability to stand and work on their feet for up to 12 hour shifts.· Ability to work nights and weekends.· Lift up to 50 pounds.· Travel up and down stairs unassisted, sometimes while carrying large objects.
