Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role located at Rowan University in Glassboro, NJ for a Catering Event Manager. The Catering Event Manager is responsible for day-to-day event planning, management, and catering sales to ensure that events run smoothly and meet customer satisfaction. The Catering Event Manager must ensure the coordination of all food service activities, including menu planning, ordering of food and supplies, and the scheduling and supervision of all staff.

Qualifications

• Customer service, event planning, and event management skills
• Catering sales and food service experience
• Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment
• Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills
• Experience in the catering industry
• Bachelor's degree in Hospitality Management, Business, or related field
• Knowledge of food and beverage, health and safety, and regulatory standards and compliance
• Ability to work well in a team environment
