CATERING OPERATIONS COORDINATORFull Time, Non-Exempt Employee

JOB OVERVIEWDISPATCH

  • Daily drafting of driver and delivery/pick-up schedules including routing and timing of delivery/pick-ups to maintain timely delivery + event execution.
  • Coordinate kitchen due times, onsite chef packouts and expediting.
  • Schedule drivers in Nowsta. Maintain operations variable labor cost of 8.25% of food and beverage revenue or below.
  • Coordinate with Operations Manager additional vehicle rentals as needed.
  • Regularly maintain and update driver information in TPP, Nowsta and the driver schedules.
  • Take notes for our Production Meeting and keep track of completion to report to the Operations Manager.

EXPEDITING

  • Label all outgoing food, beverages and supplies with corresponding color(s), name of event and date of event.
  • Communicate with the drivers to ensure accurate and efficient loading of vehicles, routing and delivery timing during the loading and delivery process.
  • Maintain an efficient and effective communication with event, kitchen, and sales teams during the loading and delivery process.
  • Clearly communicate any foreseen delays or rerun requirements to the kitchen management and operations team, event captain and sales team in a timely manner.

OPERATIONS

  • Manage our annual preventative maintenance schedule and ensure all tasks are completed in a timely manner. Maintain a clean and organized warehouse facility.
  • Ensure that the working environment is kept clean at all times by straightening up, sweeping, mopping, trash removal as needed.
  • Other reasonably assigned duties as needed.
