Eliot is excited to continue to participate in the transformation of community behavioral health programs. We not only believe that high-quality services must be provided when and where people need them but we have a proven track record of doing so. We are devoted to creating and supporting services that remove barriers to services in the community, rather than in emergency rooms and institutional settings. We are implementing innovative assessment and treatment in our Emergency Services and Urgent Care services and are looking for an applicant who can continue who can be a creative problem solve and continue to implement new initiatives. Responsibilities
- Direct and manage the daily operations and service delivery of Urgent Care services.
- Direct and manage the all administrative and clinical functions of Urgent Care services for all clients.
- Direct the implementation of the Urgent Care services vision including developing systems to ensure immediate access to services and transfer of services to CBHC Teams.
- Develop and implement systems to monitor service delivery and utilization of supports for Urgent Care services.
- Manage and direct overall fiscal direction and budgetary needs of Urgent Care services.
- Develop, implement and manage utilization of Urgent Care services.
- Create a work environment which supports a strong culture of immediate access, person centered treatment, evidence-based treatment, and customer service.
- Develop budget and participate in contract development; compliance with budget plan for expenditures and revenue.
- Develop systems to monitor utilization and billing to match services with available revenue streams.
- Provide direct supervision to direct reports within Urgent Care services.
- Provide leadership, support and clinical guidance to all staff supervised in accordance with CBHC policies and procedures.
Qualifications:
- Must possess a current Massachusetts clinical license including LICSW, LMHC, LMFT, LRC, LADCI, RN, PA, APRN, MD, or Licensed Psychologist.
- Must have strong clinical skills with at least 5 years of experience working with people with severe and persistent mental illnesses and/or children with mental health disorders.
- Must have at least 3 years of experience providing supervision in a mental health setting.
- Demonstrated ability to oversee/manage a multi-disciplinary clinical team and to design/operate programs based on community needs.
- Proven management and leadership skills.
- Knowledge of the vast array of community resources and how to access them.
- Thorough knowledge of public and private health insurance plans.
