And because you know your customers and their typical freight load, you'll never be surprised or slowed down by unusual shipments.As a Dedicated CDL-A Truck Driver, you can expect:

- Starting pay .63 cpm
- Average of 2,200 miles per week
- Maximize your earnings with $20 stop pay
- Average 2-4 stops per trip
- Stop times average 30 min-1 hour each
- NYC pays $50 per stop; average 1 time per month
- Company sponsored per diem program
- Weekly home time, regular midweek home time
- Leave out on a Sunday with midweek and weekend home time
- Picking up preloaded trailers at the customer's location in Virginia Beach with possible backhauls
- Making deliveries along the East Coast to include (GA, CT, FL, MA, ME, NH, VT, VA, PA, NC, SC, NY, IN, OH, NJ, TN, MD, RI, AL)
- Driver is required to move freight to the rear of the trailer using a hydraulic pallet jack on some deliveries. Driver is paid $5.00 per pallet.
- Lumpers are available at some delivery locations. Otherwise, the customer is to move freight from trailer to stockroom
- Regular dispatches, usually 2 trips per week
- Assigned safe, well-maintained Freightliners with automatic transmissions and APUs

Job Requirements - Must live within a 100-mile radius
- Must have 1 year of verifiable tractor-trailer experience within the past 3 years, including at least 6 months' OTR experience
- Must be 21 years of age or older
- Must have Class A CDL
- No convictions for reckless driving within the past 5 years
- No convictions for DUI within the past 5 years
- No suspensions or revocations within the last 5 years
- No serious violations within the previous 12 months (15 mph or greater, following too closely, improper passing, traffic offense committed in a CMV in connection with fatality)
- No more than 3 moving violations within the past 3 years
- No preventable DOT recordable accidents within the past 3 years
Essential functions:
- Open/Close Trailer Doors - force requirement: 46 lbs
- Count freight
- Complete fuel tickets
- Obtain sales leads
- Hook/Unhook trailer - force requirement: 90 lbs (Class A Only)
- Perform pre-trip inspections
