Job SummaryResponsible for driving a truck between our locations for delivery/pickup of items.
Schedule- 12 hour shifts, 3 days a week, rotating schedule.
- 3rd shift-12am through 12pm

Duties and essential job functions- Prompt and effective communication with manager
- Loading and unloading of delivery truck with clean and/or soiled laundry
- Delivering of truck and contents safely to and from various locations.
- Manage route efficiency and safety.
- Positive communication with co-workers.
- Load truck: organization, invoices, paperwork, bags.
- Organization of rails, hanger racks, repair bags, lockers.
- Truck maintenance: timely communication of repairs, preventative maintenance, cleanliness, accidents.
- Ability to lift up to 60 pounds on a frequent basis.
- Ability to drive a commercial motor vehicle for at least 10 hours on a daily basis.
- Other duties as assigned.
- This position requires regular and reliable attendance.
Minimum requirements- Clean driving record, valid Class A CDL required, and health card.
- 1-2 years job related and/or customer service-related experience preferred.
- Must be 25 or older.
Critical Physical Demands:
Sitting:- Frequently, in truck to drive to accounts and up to one hour to complete paperwork.
Walking:- Occasionally, to load and unload truck. Distance varies.
Bending:- Occasionally to retrieve fallen items. UP to 90 degrees flexion.
Trunk Rotation:- Frequently, to load, unload,, and carry laundry.
Squatting/Crouching:- Occasionally, to pick up, sort, retrieve laundry
Climbing:- Occasionally up and down steps in and out of truck.
Reaching out/up:- Frequently, to load, unload laundry up to arms length.
Grasping/Pinching/Wrist Turning:- Continuously, to handle laundry, door handles, mats, hangers, bags, pen and paper, and to drive. Power and precision grasp.
Finger Manipulation:- Frequently, to write and untie/tie cords on bags.
Pushing/Pulling:- Frequently, up to 20 pounds of force to open and close truck doors, bring laundry carts to truck.
Lifting/Carrying:- Continuously, up to 60 pounds to load and unload truck, take items to and from depots -Distance varies.
Use of Feet:- Frequently, to operate brake and gas pedals on truck and walking to and from truck and depot.
