We look forward to recieving your application!salary: $62,400 - $66,000 per yearshift: Firstwork hours: 6 AM - 2 PMeducation: High SchoolResponsibilitiesDrives straight truck (CDL Class A drivers) or tractor trailer (only CDL Class A drivers) to deliver materials to customer locations and/or move materials between warehouse locations - Verify materials loaded on truck with Warehouse Operations Manager, Warehouse Area Supervisor, or Shipping Assistant. Ensures that proper paperwork is delivered with shipment and receipts for deliveries are signed. - Ensures that all shipping documents (i.e., manifest, security seal sheet, bills of lading, shipping orders or freight bills, etc.) required to move with shipments is available for inspection and that appropriate paperwork accompanies shipment when delivered. Confirms material loaded or picked up is accurate and cross-referenced against the paperwork. - May hook and unhook trailer from tractor, including cranking lever to raise and lower landing gear on semi-trailers. Maneuvers containers in and out of the parking or dock areas. - Ensures that materials are properly loaded and secured on trailer before departure to ensure minimal risk of damage to cargo and endangerment of persons. - Inspects truck for defects and safe operating conditions before, during and after trips.
