A local truck driving job typically consists of transporting freight within a 200-mile radius, allowing the driver to complete their deliveries and return home the same day. - Weekly Guaranteed Pay: $1,255
- 46 CPM with 2,500 miles per week
- Stop pay: $12 per stop with 5-15 stops per week
- Drop & Hook pay: $6.00 per drop & hook
- Bonuses
- Sign on Bonus: $1,000; paid out 1/2 at 30 days 1/2 at 90 days
- Shutdown bonus: $2,000 paid in 2 installments
- Safety Bonus: $250 paid 4 times per year every quarter

- Start times Must be open to AM or PM based on bid system
- Monday – Friday; Some Saturdays or Tuesday - Saturday

- Trucks are 36 months or newer

- 24/7 Roadside Maintenance and Company Drivers fuel up the trucks at over 800 Maintenance Facilities Nationwide Qualifications
- Must have a valid CDL A License
- Minimum 21 years of age
- Must have Class A verifiable experience in a tractor trailer or comparable vehicle
- 9 months experience within the past 3 years, OR
- 2 years' experience within the last 5 years, OR
- 5 years' experience within the last 10 years
- HazMat endorsement required at time of hire
- Pass a Ryder Drug Test
- Pass a Ryder Background and Motor vehicle check including Drug and alcohol verification from previous employers for the last 3 years
- Pass a DOT physical
- Pass a Ryder road test
- Ability to read, interpret and apply laws, rules, regulations policies and/or procedures
