Gulf Winds is seeking Owner Operators for its location in Charleston, SC. Gulf Winds serves the container drayage, transloading, and domestic transportation industries and offers CDL-A owner operators consistently high volumes of work. Compensation:
- Average Weekly Pay: $4,000 + FSC
- Fuel surcharge paid off gross (% of load)

Home Time, Route and Schedule
- Home daily with one 2-day run per week
- Routes: local and regional, out and back from Charleston
- Level of touch: 75% drop and pick/hook
Equipment Requirements
- Any year of truck as long as it passes inspection
Qualifications
- Must have a valid CDL A License
- Minimum 21 years of age
- Minimum 1-year verifiable tractor trailer driving experience in the last 10 years
- TWIC/HazMat not required but adds additional opportunities
- No more than three (3) moving violations within the last thirty-six (36) months.
- No more than two (2) preventable accidents within the last twenty-four (24) months
- Must be able to pass a FMCSA pre-hire drug screen and have no prior FMCSA positive drug and/or alcohol testing or refusals within the last 10 years
- Must be able to pass a previous employer and criminal background check. No misdemeanor in the last five (5) years or felony convictions in the last seven (7) years
- Must live within 60 Miles of Charleston, SC
