Position Highlights:- Pay: $1,100 guaranteed weekly pay (salary)
- Schedule: Monday - Friday (occasional Sunday night departure or Saturday morning return)
- Home Time: Home every weekend and one night during the week
- Shift Length: 10-12 hour shifts, 5 days per week
- Routes: Regional routes covering NJ, PA, and OH (90% of loads within these states)
- Equipment: 2023 Volvo or 2019 International (manual transmission)
Key Responsibilities:- Freight Handling: 95% no-touch freight (driver may assist to expedite unloading when necessary)
- Route Management: Regional routes within NJ, PA, and OH
- Safety & Compliance: Follow DOT regulations, conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections, and ensure secure transport of freight
Requirements:- CDL License: Valid Class A CDL
- Endorsements: Willingness to obtain Tanker, Hazmat, and TWIC in the future (TransForce will assist)
- Experience:
- Minimum of 2 years of verifiable CDL A experience required
- Less than 2 years considered if prior OTR experience
- Clean Record:
- No more than 3 moving violations in the past 3 years
- Transmission: Ability to operate manual transmission trucks
