***MUST BE WILLING TO COMMUTE TO NEWARK, NJ FOR TRAINING***

COMMUTING EXPENSE ASSISTANCE PROVIDED TO RESIDENTS OF BROOKLYN, QUEENS, LONG ISLAND, BRONX

Farmland Fresh is looking for CDL B Drivers that have a passion for driving and providing customer service while delivering dairy and other perishable foods in the Tri-state area! Meet with our recruiters and hiring managers and learn how to get a Fresh start on your trucking career with Farmland Fresh Dairies!!!

POSITIONS WE ARE HIRING FOR / RATE OF PAY:

• CDL A Holder: $30.00/ hr.
• CDL B Holder: $27.00/ hr.
• New CDL Graduates A or B Holders : $24.00/hr.
• $7,000 SIGN-ON BONUS contingent on verifiable experience
• Helper provided on route.
• All positions includes benefits such as:Medical, Dental, Vision, Retirement Plan, Life Insurance. Time off package which includes vacation, sick, holidays

About the Event:

• Open Interviews
• DATE: September 26, 2024
• TIME: 9am-12pm
• LOCATION: Workforce 1 Transportation (168-46 91st Ave, Jamaica, NY 11432) Second Floor near DMV
• PARKING: Street parking or paid parking lot available behind shopping center.

• DRIVER HELPER PROVIDED ON ROUTE!
• Please bring your CDL B, DOT Medical Card and Resume

Schedules:

• Dispatch times: 2am-5am
• Shift : 8-10 hours per day, approximately
• Stops per route: 25-35 depending on location and route
• Days off : Sunday and second day off in the middle of the week, must be able to work Saturdays

Requirements:

• CDL Class B, Valid DOT Medical Card Required
• Ability to lift/ push/ pull 60 lbs or more frequently and transport product on hand trucks into basements, and up/down stairways
• Ability to withstand temperature changes by going in/out of refrigerated areas and working in all weather conditions
• Pass pre-employment testing (Drug Screen, Background Check)
• Able to read, write and communicate in English as it relates to the job and to the safety regulations)
• Have basic math skills (add, subtract, multiply, divide).
• Engage in trainings/participate in ongoing trainings that could provide a career as a driver
