Lorco Petroleum Services is currently hiring a CDL B Vacuum Tanker Truck Driver for our Elizabeth, NJ facility.
Must Have a Valid CDL B Driver's License
Tanker & HAZMAT Endorsements REQUIRED
Our Vacuum truck drivers work for many contractors, car dealers as well as all major oil companies. We provide pump out service as well as tank cleaning and oil water separator cleanings. Lorco operates a well-maintained fleet which is comprised of mostly newer automatic Kenworth and Peterbilt trucks.

Pre-Employment Qualifications:
- CDL – B License with Hazmat & Tanker Endorsements
- Valid Medical Card
- Must have a “clear” MVR (Motor Vehicle Record).
- Obtain a TWIC Card & pass a Pre-Employment Physical & DOT Drug Test.
- Pass a road test monitored by an approved Lorco licensed driver.
- Good verbal and written communication and the ability to use a company Tablet
- 40 hour OSHA trained & confined space certification a plus but not mandatory.
Responsibilities:
- Safely operate a tanker truck and obey all traffic control devices.
- The ability to work an 8–10-hour day, (usually 5 days a week) with the time divided between driving and stopping at customer's sites to service their needs.
- Must be able to work independently as well as work well with others.
- Follow all of company health & safety requirements.
- Perform a Pre and Post – Trip Inspection on the truck you were provided.
- The strength to move around a 3” hose.
- Wear full face respirator and all PPE to enter & clean tanks
- Proficient in driving both a manual and automatic transmission truck
- Properly clean up product spills when necessary
- The ability to lift up to 50 lbs., bend and twist during the course of the day.
- The ability to work outside and manage the weather accustomed to the northeast
- Must be able to effectively communicate (verbal & written) & maintain a professional business relationship with all customers.
- Have a good sense of direction and the ability to interpret a map, minimizing the possibility of getting lost or traveling on restricted road ways.
- Must be willing and able to drive in New York, Pennsylvania, and New Jersey.
- Must be reliable and come to work on time everyday
All Lorco Petroleum Services vac truck drivers are required to wear the following Personal Protective Equipment, (P.P.E.):
- Company uniform (pants, shirt, jacket)
- Bright high visibility illuminated vest or shirt
- Gloves - Chemical resistant gloves (i.e., nitrile or rubber)
- Hard Hat (when required)
- Eye Protection, usually safety glasses, possibly goggles and or face shield
- Steel toed boots, oil resistant & black
- Inclement weather gear rain jacket & rubber boots (when necessary)
- Full face respirator ( when cleaning tanks )
- Hearing protection when working around loud noise.
