Drivers are typically home daily and run local and regional routes.Drivers are responsible for completing thorough pre-and post-trip inspections. This position may require wearing PPE (personal protective equipment), lifting up to 70 pounds, climbing, and working in elevated locations. You will also need to complete thorough pre-and post-trip inspections, wear PPE as required.We operate 24/7/365. Work schedules vary, depending on business needs. Load assignments are given based on hours of service available. Tractors are dedicated, trailers are shared and slip-seating is expected. CDL Truck Driver Job Requirements:Valid Class A CDLNo endorsements required; double/triple preferredMinimum 23 Years of age1-year experience operating a combination vehicle. PPE is typically issued by our safety department and may include but is not limited to:• Hard hat with face shield• Goggles/Spoggles• Gloves• Long sleeve shirt• Reflective vest• Hearing protection• Respirator Mask (varies according to the work site)• Steel toe boots (not supplied by CTI)Respirators: CTI employees are required to wear a full and/or half-mask respirator for any job task that requires a respirator. Respirators (PPE) are distributed by CTI and are used to protect employees from those occupational hazards caused by breathing contaminated air (harmful dust, fogs, fumes, mists, gases, smokes, sprays, or vapors). All CTI employees who are required to wear a respirator must be clean-shaven daily and in compliance with respirator protocols at all times.CDL Driver Job description is available upon request.
