We believe in the strength of a hardworking team and are looking for committed individuals to join our team.Job Summary: Xccelerated Construction Unlimited is seeking a skilled and safety-conscious Class A - CDL Driver to join our team. The primary responsibility of this role is to transport equipment to and from job sites, ensuring the safe and timely delivery of all materials. In addition to driving, this role involves loading and unloading equipment. The ideal candidate will have a strong work ethic, a commitment to safety, and the ability to work in varying weather conditions.Key Responsibilities:
  • Operate haul trucks and trailers, including secure loading and off-loading of equipment.
  • Using basic hand tools as needed.
  • Perform routine maintenance on vehicles and auxiliary equipment, including cleaning, lubrication, fueling, and battery recharging.
  • Safely transport materials between loading, and work sites by following company guidelines and DOT regulations.
  • Inspect product loads and secure cargo for transport, ensuring safe and compliant movement to job sites.
  • Report any vehicle defects, accidents, traffic violations, or damages to the vehicles promptly to supervisors.
  • Maneuver trucks into loading or unloading positions, working with the loading crew to ensure proper alignment and secure positioning.
  • Conduct daily safety inspections on vehicles, equipment, and tools.
  • Complete all required field paperwork for job locations and DOT compliance.
  • Maintain and update logbooks, fuel reports, and mileage reports.
  • Work in varying weather conditions, including extreme heat and cold, for extended hours.
  • Assist with disassembling machinery or equipment to remove parts for repair and reassemble them post-inspection or testing.
  • Properly rig materials to be lifted, following company safety protocols.
  • Drive company trucks to and from job sites, maintaining housekeeping standards on vehicles and job locations.
  • Promote and maintain a safe working environment for all personnel, customers, and third-party vendors at job sites.
  • Understand and adhere to all XCU Standard Operating Procedures.
  • Travel will be expected for this position.
Qualifications:
  • Experience: Minimum of 2 years of experience operating trucks and trailers in a construction or oil and gas environment is preferred.
  • License: Valid Class A - CDL with clutch endorsement and a clean driving record.
  • Skills: Familiarity with securing loads, basic hand tools, and routine vehicle maintenance. Experienced in backing up trailers with loads.
  • Physical Requirements: Ability to work outdoors in extreme weather conditions, lift heavy materials (80-100 lbs.), and perform physically demanding tasks.
  • Safety Awareness: Commitment to safety protocols and willingness to report unsafe conditions or practices.
