From the company's inception in 1946, Stier has expanded into 8 markets throughout the Southeast and is continuing to grow at an unprecedented rate.Hiring Manager(s) Location Irmo - Retail Location Category Retail DescriptionSafely transport a large 24' flatbed with Moffett Lift of building material to designated job sites within subdivisions served by the company. Assist with loading of trucks.Reporting Relationships: This position reports to the dispatcher. This position coordinates with the Operations Manager for the job which deliveries are to be made.Principal Duties & Responsibilities:* CDL License is required* Must be able to drive a manual transmission* Must have Moffett Experience* Maintain excellent driving record.* Locate and drive truck to each job on trip ticket.* Communicate and check-in with Operations Manager for designated delivery market.* Unload materials from truck while parked on the street and use a forklift to move them to the house* Check for accuracy of materials at each job site.* Report any discrepancies found during unloading and delivery for each job site to the dispatcher.* Perform pre-trip inspection on assigned truck.* Report any truck problems encountered on the road or at job site to the dispatcher.* Report any job site problems to the market's operations manager which would cause a delivery not to be made.* Assist with loading of trucks.* Execute on any tasks assigned by the dispatcher or logistics manager.Salary Benefits Medical; Vision; Dental; Life; 401K; PTO; Holiday EOE Statement We are an equal employment opportunity employer.
