Maximum Security Products Corp. (MSP) is a Waterford, NY-based Detention Equipment and Miscellaneous Steel contractor and manufacturer. MSP is seeking an experienced Truck Driver to join their team.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Make deliveries of steel products to job sites at various locations across New York State and the greater northeast U.S.
- Responsible for inspecting truck for mechanical & safety issues as well as preventative maintenance.
- Communicating and coordinating with dispatchers.
- Obeying and following applicable traffic laws.
- Securing cargo and properly arranging and balancing it within the vehicle.
- Maintain a detailed log of working hours in compliance with state and federal regulations.
- Planning routes and meeting delivery schedules.
- Performing daily maintenance of truck (refueling, cleaning, etc.)
- Loading and unloading.
- Interacting with customers in a professional manner
- Performing pre- and post-trip vehicle inspection
- Recording cargo deliveries.
- Verifying loads for accuracy.
- On non-delivery days, driver would have local driving & miscellaneous tasks to perform in the warehouse.
- Other duties as assigned.
Knowledge and Skills Required:
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- Valid, clean CDL Class B License (Minimum)
- One year of truck driving experience
- Standard shift knowledge
- Ability to successfully pass background/security check required.
Desired skills and experience:
- Experience with truck-mounted knuckle boom is a plus.

Physical Demands:
