Red Horse Seed Production is seeking to hire a hard-working, reliable Truck Driver to join our team! This individual will be responsible for safely transporting packaged and bulk seed, both locally and within the Midwest. Very limited overnight travel - you will be home most nights! CDL and medical certification required, T endorsement and prior driving experience preferred.*Duties** Transport finished and raw goods.* Inspect vehicles for mechanical items and safety issues. Perform preventative maintenance.* Plan routes and meet delivery schedules.* Document and log work hours and miles. Retain fuel receipts.* Comply with truck driving laws (size, weight, route designations) as well as the company policies and procedures.* Maneuver trucks into loading and unloading positions.* Collect and verify delivery instructions. Ensure signatures on paperwork are both signed and printed.* Help in the warehouse when not on the road. Assist at other Red Horse Seed Production locations if needed.* Perform other duties as assigned.*Skills** Valid Commercial Driver's License (CDL) and medical certification required.* Double/Triple Trailers (T endorsement) preferred.* Detail-orientated with excellent record-keeping skills.* Strong problem-solving ability and customer service skills.* Ability to drive long hours and travel regularly.* Experience with electronic equipment and software preferred (ELogs, iPads, Email).* Forklift certified (will train and certify upon hire).* Ability to work well with a team and independently.*Working Conditions** Hours of Operation: Monday-Friday 7:30am-5:30pm.
