Join us and be inspired!GENERAL SUMMARYThe Center Assistant is responsible for creating a warm and welcoming environment for incoming students, parents and teachers. The Center Assistant supports the Center Directors in scheduling appointments, receiving students and teachers for instruction, and all reception functions. This includes taking inquiry calls, making confirmation calls, preparing the center for instruction time, and other administrative duties as needed. The Center Assistant will also aid in welcoming and testing new students per instructions of the director. The Center Assistant will also monitor instruction quality, program outcomes, and communicate regularly with student families regarding progress. Daily responsibilities include regular cleaning and sanitation duties in the center and preparing materials for students and teachers.QUALIFICATIONS
  • Two years office experience preferred
  • Associate's degree or higher preferred
  • Enthusiastic, welcoming demeanor and professional customer service skills
  • Must have the ability to multi-task
  • Maintain close attention to detail
  • Computer proficient, ready to learn our center operations software
  • Organizational skills and ability to self-direct
  • Ability to work well under pressure
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality
  • Ability to react to change productively and handle other essential tasks as assigned
  • Ability to create a welcoming and professional environment for our students, families, and community
  • Professionalism, including timely arrival to work and dressing according to Sylvan dress code
  • Must have evening and Saturday availability
HERE'S WHAT WE HAVE TO OFFER
